We add new stories and updates every few weeks. Sometimes we're traveling, often there are cute moments to share, and occasionally we run into some serious surprises.

Being a pet sitter is always full of surprises, but last Tuesday was definitely one for the books. I was looking after Apollo, a charming and energetic French Poodle, when my friend Luz called me for a quick shopping spree at the local mall. Since the mall is pet-friendly, I decided to bring Apollo along for some socialization.

While we were browsing through a trendy lifestyle boutique, something caught Luz’s eye near the checkout counter. "Wait, is that... perfume for dogs?" she asked, laughing.

We approached the display and realized we had stumbled upon the official launch of the store’s very first canine fragrance line. It was the first time this shop had ever carried a perfume specifically made for pets. We were curious (and a bit skeptical), so we picked up the tester bottle called “Fefe'.”

But here is the funniest part: as I looked at the packaging, I did a double-take. The dog featured on the box—the "face" of the brand—was a French Poodle that looked exactly like Apollo! Same floppy ears, same "smile," and even the same fur color.

"Apollo, you’re famous!" I joked. 

A small crowd gathered as we sprayed a little mist near him (it smelled like Ylang Ylang, Musk, and Sandalwood, surprisingly nice!). Apollo sat there looking incredibly proud, posing next to the display as if he were waiting for his royalty checks to arrive. People actually started asking if he was the dog from the advertisement! 

We ended up buying the bottle, of course. Now Apollo doesn't just look like a supermodel; he smells like one, too. It was a hilarious reminder that in the world of pet sitting, even a simple shopping trip can turn into a "red carpet" moment.
